Program Description

Event Details

Momigami is a Japanese paper technique that involves kneading paper to create a soft, fabric-like texture. Momigami paper is durable, flexible, and can be used in many ways. In this class Carlise Azmitia, a Hudson Valley Atelier instructor, will guide you through this technique to create colorful, unique covers and glue them on notebooks to make beautiful, personalized journals. This meditative and recycled art practice will help you wind down from your hectic day.
